As long as your tattooist is a reputable artist who follows all recommended safety precautions and regulations, tattoos are safe. It is important to openly communicate any medical conditions or important information that could affect your time in the chair or may compromise the integrity of the tattoo.

Love Letters Tattoos specializes in fine line black & grey only.

While it is true that some areas of the body are more painful, it truly depends on the pain tolerance of each person. Some have described the pain as a stinging, pricking, or scratching sensation. In reality, because a needle is penetrating the skin, it can be expected that you will experience some level of discomfort.

Currently, we do not offer any piercing services.

There are so many components that go into the healing duration: physical health, size and location of tattoo, aftercare routine, etc. Everyone’s body and healing processes are different, but it is important that you follow the aftercare instructions closely to aid in the proper and timely healing of your new tattoo. Note that the peeling of your top layer of skin means that the healing is almost complete. Continue to moisturize so that the new skin heals appropriately.

There is one saying that holds true, especially when it comes to tattoos: you get what you pay for. You will be sporting the piece for the rest of your life, so it is best to seek out quality over cost. Budgets are entirely understandable, so reach out to Love Letters Tattoos for more information. In general, the cost of your tattoo depends on the location, size, preparation time, amount of detail, and length of the session.

Tipping your tattoo artist is an extremely kind gesture that shows appreciation for the craft. Still, there are no official ground rules for tipping.
