In reality, because a needle is penetrating the skin, it can be expected that you will experience some level of discomfort.

There are so many components that go into the healing duration: physical health, size and location of tattoo, aftercare routine, etc. Everyone’s body and healing processes are different, but it is important that you follow the aftercare instructions closely to aid in the proper and timely healing of your new tattoo. Note that the peeling of your top layer of skin means that the healing is almost complete. Continue to moisturize so that the new skin heals appropriately.

A book, headphones, phone charger, portable game device, magazine, etc are encouraged to keep calm. A non-alcoholic beverage and snack are encouraged to stay energized and alert, though Love Letters Tattoos will always gladly provide as needed!
